Monday’s morning selection: a new week means new opportunities

Rise and shine, babes! Time to get through another week.

Welcome to Monday’s Morning Selection — a small, thoughtful collection of carefully curated content designed to help you ease into the week.

Think of it as a menu you can come back to on Monday mornings, choosing whatever feels right for you that day.

I’ve divided into three parts:

  • Starters: a few words you can choose from that feels right and can become the tone or intention for your week.
  • Main: tasks, activities, or ideas you can try throughout the week, depending on your energy and mood.
  • Desserts: a handful of quotes — maybe comforting, maybe inspiring, maybe just something that sticks with you.

There’s no right way to go through this. Choose the “dish” that sounds tastier, that matches where you are in life, how you’re feeling, and what this week is asking of you.

This is the very first issue, so if there’s a section you’d love to see added — something that would help you start the week a little more grounded — feel free to share your ideas in the comments.

For Monday haters (and tired girls) ☕️:

  • Drink at least one cup of water each day (200 ml).
  • Make yourself a cup of coffee when needed (but don’t drink more than 2 cups per day).
  • Plan out your week keeping Monday and Friday as free as possible so that you can have a calm beginning and the end of the week.
  • Try to tackle at least one house chore each day (don’t let them accumulate).
  • Focus and stretch for 10 minutes three times this week (morning or night) .

For dopamine addicts 🏋️‍♀️:

  • Meditate for at least 5 minutes before starting your week.
  • Try out a dance class at least once this week.
  • Run for 30 minutes three times this week (in the morning or after work).
  • Set a new fitness goal to accomplish this week.
  • You’ll need to rest after such long days, sleep for at least 8 hours each day.

For rich girls💰:

  • Register your expenses from the weekend and plan your weekly budget.
  • Set out at least 1 category in which you’ll save money this week (could be coffee, eating out, or shopping).
  • Checkout all of your due payments and their due dates. Identify which ones you have to make this week.
  • Watch at least one video to become more financial literate.

For spoiled princesses 👑:

  • Set the mood of the day and light a candle every morning after waking up. Choose a scent you particularly enjoy ✨
  • Focus on your skin-care routine (day and night). Keep does wrinkles away. Protect your skin!
  • Stand in front of the mirror and say three morning affirmations to yourself everyday.
  • Buy something that has been seating on your shopping list for a while (that won’t affect your monthly budget).

For healthy baddies 🥗:

  • Try out three different fit recipes for smoothies or milkshakes to drink each morning.
  • Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day or at least an hour three days this week (lower body, upper body, and stretching).
  • Limit your sugar intake this week. Document how you feel – if you notice any benefits or not. Decide if you’re willing to try it out for another week.

For social butterflies 🦋 :

  • Sign up for one event this week and go. Could be going to a conference, a dinner, classes of anything, joining a group or a club (golf, reading, soccer, etc.).
  • Try to message or call all of your friends just to see how they’re doing. A “Hi, how are you? It’s been a while” text is enough.
  • Befriend a person you find interesting. Ask them about themselves and then tell them about yourself. You could even go the extra mile and set to meet up another day just to get to know each other.

DESSERTS
